Last week at Campfire One we celebrated App Engine's birthday by launching a suite of Java tools and developer features, including:
· App Engine: An 'Early Look' at Java, Cron, and Data Import
. Google Web Toolkit 1.6
· Google Plugin for Eclipse
· Secure Data Connector
Want to try these tools out? We're inviting the first 10K developers to try it out, but if can's get it please let me know and I'll send you an invitation! Then install the Google Plugin for Eclipse. It contains both the new Google Web Toolkit 1.6 and App Engine for Java SDKs, requiring only one install. The Eclipse update sites are here. (Note these are not browsable URLs. Use them in Eclipse's Software Updates mechanism)
